Constant Crunching…
Things are busy right now. Furiously busy.
So, not only did I unpublish my original “A Friend For Cody” from Amazon Kindle and Kindle Unlimited, but I turned around and published it as part of an anthology series I am working on in their new Kindle Vella platform. Because of the business model that is set up for their new program, it is requiring me to publish several stories so that I can reach a larger crowd and maximize my viewership. I am also working in three separate genres for the platform, so I am hoping that I can reach much more readers and other creators easier.
At least, in theory, that is my plan.
On the videogame collection I have going, I have recently found a large handful of Nintendo 3DS games have become more economically accessible on Amazon. I have purchased three games in the last few months. And, yes, I do realize that some of the games are total crap, but in any collection, you may have to start in the gutters and work your way up.
My current 3DS collection is now:
- Animal Crossing New Leaf
- Codename: S.T.E.A.M.
- Generator Rex: Agent of Providence
- Michael Jackson: The 3D Experience
- Pokemon Sun and Moon
- Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby
- Scribblenauts Unmasked
- Theatrythmn Final Fantasy
- Yo-Kai Watch
Nintendo DS games:
- Digimon World Dawn
- Metroid Prime Pinball
- Metroid Prime Hunters [First Hunt]
- My Japanese Coach
- Nintendogs Lab and Friends
- Picross DS
- Viewtiful Joe Double Trouble
(I’ll post lists of my other collections in a later post)
I’ve played Theatrythmn FF more than any of the other games, but I have started Yo-Kai Watch over the weekend. My hope is to complete all of these games, as well as some of the other games in my collection. #roadto100
I also put new batteries into my two Digimon 20th Anniversary Digivices. I have four Digimon right now, and my hope is to fulfill the goal on those as well.
On the Mock Ravage Design front, I have a concept that I am working on that I feel will engage people more through streetwear. I don’t know how it will do, but as soon as I have those running, I will post those on the store website.
While posting on LinkedIn, I found that posting about the streetwear business instead of posting about my creating multiple series on Kindle Vella, more people want to know how to start a business with no capital. Now that I have found my niche on LinkedIn, I will post more about starting a business on the cheap rather than about my writing. It’s a little disappointing since I want to be known in the business world as a writer/creator instead of an entrepreneur, but maybe through the posts I place on there, my writing will shine through and people will notice my writing skills.
At this point, the larger the audience I can get, the better my chances are at succeeding.
Since this is a public journal again, similar to what I was doing with the mental health issues I had in the past, I have learned what I want to say and feel on here that how I originally posted status updates.
Today, I will write a post on LinkedIn, read a book I promised another creator that I would read and review for them, and get some writing done. Later today, I will spend time with my daughter bonding with Fortnite on the Switch and playing some more on Theatrythmn FF. Writing that will allow me to be more accountable for what I accomplish today. Granted, no sleep will probably mean I will need to take a nap at some point today.
There will be more posts in the future. If you happen to see this post, look me up on Twitter (link at the bottom of the page) and we can connect!
Have a great day, and never give up!
